Frequently Asked Questions
- Who is DDC for? The event meant for K-12 students and their families/parents/teachers. Any student can participate.
- What do I need to bring to DDC? For each student, their parent must fill out a liability and media release form. See the Required Forms tab to download these and for more information. These forms are required for students to participate.
- Do students have to be Hispanic to participate? No. We invite all students interested to join us!
- Can I volunteer, even if I don't go to UCR? Yes! Please volunteer with us! Contact us at our emails below.
- Can parents accompany their children? Yes! We encourage parents to accompany their children and sign in as an individual on zoom. It is not required unless the student or group of students is under 6th grade.
- Is the event in English? Yes, however we have many spanish-speaking students working the day of the event who can help guide spanish-speakers as needed.
- Where and at what time is Check-in? Check in will be in person, exact location will be provided.
